About Jan

Little Jan

I loved my work in the hospital as an RN. I was blessed through the years to experience many areas of nursing: orthopedic nursing, case management, legal nurse consulting, nurse management and ultimately, my own health coaching practice.

My own health struggles made running a business difficult so now I’m devoting my work to the three disorders that I not only have personally, but some¬†family members share: Mast Cell Disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Dysautonomia.

I have been managing these disorders for many years and one for my entire life. It has been a roller coaster ride at times, but they won’t take me down. Working as an RN allowed me to see what we nurses called “chronic disease personalities“. These are people who battle a chronic disease and become cranky, negative and unpleasant because of it. As soon as I got the first diagnosis, I vowed never to turn into “that” kind of person. I’m happy to report, I have not. Join me on my journey…
